The above table shows that:

    •  Audley families A & B (both of Liverpool, England) are genetically 'Tightly Related' although a common ancestor has not been identified.
    •  Audley families A (of Liverpool, England) & J (of Coventry, England) are genetically 'Not Related'.  They  are members of different Haplogroups, (Family A; Haplogroup R1b: Family J; Haplogroup E1b1b) which suggest that any common male ancestor being more than 20,000 years ago.
    •  Audley families B (of Liverpool, England) & J ( of Coventry, England) are genetically 'Not Related'. They  are members of different Haplogroups, (Family A; Haplogroup R1b: Family J; Haplogroup E1b1b) which suggest that any common male ancestor being more than 20,000 years ago.
    • Audley families M (of Galway, Ireland) & J (of Coventry, England) are genetically 'Not Related'. They  are members of different Haplogroups, (Family M; Haplogroup R1b: Family J; Haplogroup E1b1b) which suggest that any common male ancestor being more than 20,000 years ago.
    • Audley families M (of Galway, Ireland) & A (of Liverpool, England) are 'Not Related' in 'Genealogical Time' however as both families share a common haplogroup (R1b), they will share a common male ancestor at some point within the last 15,000 to 20,000 years.
    • Audley families M (of Galway, Ireland) & B (of Liverpool, England) are 'Not Related' in 'Genealogical Time' however as both families share a common haplogroup (R1b), they will share a common male ancestor at some point within the last 15,000 to 20,000 years.
    •  The test results for the two individuals from family J show that they are genetically 'Tightly Related' this is confirmed by documentary evidence in that a common ancestor {J4} Benjamin Audley has been identified. ( see Audley Family J document on the family Tree pages

The above DNA results suggest that in 'Genelogical Time' there are at least 3 unrelated sources of the Audley surname.  One of these sources that of Audley Family M, of Galway could be the Anglicisation of a Gaelic Surname. The other two sources are that of Audley Family A and B which share a common source and that of Audley family J. It is of course possible that two unrelated families took the Audley surname when they moved away from the village of Audley in Stafford to indicate that they were 'of Audley'.
